Five insulted by Westlife
Two UK pop bands are trading insults.
Westlife, and Five, two popular UK boy-bands, have been more interested in insulting each other than in their musical career lately, The English Sun reports.
Five insist that the Westlife boys are "boring wimps", while Westlife claims Five are "rude thugs".
"We've got a bit more character and we have a lot more fun," J from Five said. "They're wimps and they're dull and they hang around in frilly, silk blouses."
"If people compared us to groups like Westlife or Boyzone we would be gutted," said Five's Ritchie. "They just stand there and do nothing. All they do is sing ballads, while we do all sorts of songs. They're just so boring."
Meanwhile, Kian Egan of Westlife voiced his opinion of Five.
"Five are just hooligans. They're always acting like kids and think they're really cool. J is the most arrogant in the band. He thinks he's God's gift and has never spoken to us. It's so childish. If they spent more time performing and less time messing about, they might get as many number 1 records as us. They're rude thugs."
