98 serenade Cincinnati

98 Degrees went back to school last week and gave a boost to a music program.

Group members Drew and Nick Lachey, Justin Jeffre and Jeff Timmons went home to Cincinnati on Thursday and visited the School for the Creative and Performing Arts, MTV reports.

The boys gave the school $2,500 from Time Warner Inc. and a grand piano from the Disney Channel.

The group was in Cincinnati to tape a special with pop singer Hoku, "98 Degrees And Hoku In Concert" that's scheduled to air on the Disney Channel in October.

In addition to taping a TV special and giving out a school grant, the group also sang the American national anthem and took batting practice with the Cincinnati Reds on Monday, and received a key to the city on Wednesday.

98 Degrees will perform with Jessica Simpson (who, of course, is dating Nick) at the Arthur Ashe Kid's Day concert in New York on August 26.

The group plans to release their next album, "Revelation", on Sept. 26 and have already released their first single from the album, "Give Me Just One Night (Una Noche)".
