98 Greets the New Year

98 Degrees plans to welcome in the New Year with a musical bash.

The four crooners will join the Goo Goo Dolls, Bush, Blink 182, Christina Aguilera and others for the New York concert.

Live Daily reported that MTV will broadcast the concert from the network's studios overlooking Times Square.

Ten contest winners and ten guests will travel around the world enjoying entertainment provided by 98 Degrees, the Goo Goo Dolls and MTV's DJ Skribble.

The 98 stars will reveal the contest phone number Nov. 29 on MTV's "Total Request Live."

The New Year's extravaganza is being called "Times Square 2000, The Global Celebration at the Crossroads of the World," and will be the largest New Year's celebration in Times Square's 95-year history.
