A*Teens to fill ABBA's shoes?

The A*Teens want to take up the ABBA challenge.

When news broke last week that ABBA rejected a billion-dollar offer to tour again, The A*Teens decided they wanted to step into their shoes.

The A*Teens, who perform covers of ABBA songs and had a hit in Europe with "Mamma Mia" in November, say they'll do the hundred concerts at 1/3 (about 3.3 million a show) of the rate. A*Teens members Amit, Dhani, Marie and Sara are also 1/3 the age of the original ABBA members.

The A*Teens, who hail from Stockholm, are reportedly contemplating an offer of half a billion and plan to decide what to do soon.
