Christina's success story

Since Christina's single "Genie In A Bottle" exploded unto the charts, the tiny blonde singer has enjoyed award nominations and high record sales.

Christina was nominated for two Grammy nominations, Best New Artist and Best Pop Vocal Female for "Genie In A Bottle" on Tuesday.

The singer's second single "What A Girl Wants" went to the top of Billboard's Hot 100 singles chart this week, RCA reports. That means Christina's song is the first number 1 single of the Millennium.

To top it all off, her self-titled album has already gone quintuple-platinum.

The singing genie plans to perform with Phil Collins, Enrique Iglesias and Toni Braxton for the Superbowl XXXIV Half-Time Show on January 31 in Atlanta.

Christina is currently on tour with TLC.
