Aguilera, 98 Degrees fire back at Eminem

At Friday's pop concert extravaganza, Zootopia, a few pop stars expressed their feeling on Eminem.

Eminem bashes pop musicians and their fans on his new album "The Marshall Mathers LP" and one of his targets was Grammy-winner Christina Aguilera. But Christina is ignoring his insults and trying to explain why the rapper attacked her in his song.

Christina pointed out that one song from Eminem's album is about his fantasy of killing his wife.

''I've been really protesting about domestic violence," Christina told EW Online. "That issue is something I feel very strongly about, just the same way he feels very strongly about voicing his opinion on pop music and pop singers. But whenever someone does it back, he can't take it. So, whatever!"

Another concert performer who was also the victim of Eminem's insults was Nick Lachey of 98 Degrees who decided to shrug of Eminem's comments.

"I think it's somewhat ironic that Eminem's becoming everything he's bashing," he said "He's become a pop act. These are not all rap and hip-hop fans on 'Total Request Live' -- these are young pop kids voting for his song."

Mandy Moore also performed at the show and expressed her annoyance at Eminem's nasty lyrics.

"I hate it when people judge me before they meet me and think, 'Oh, she has to be slow, she has to be unintelligent.'" she said. "Just because I'm blond and a pop singer, I automatically have to be like the other people out there. It annoys me that I have to explain myself."
