Christina & Britney join forces
Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera are joining their pop super-powers to save Planet Hollywood.
The two chart-topping teen singers are part of the restaurant's promotional plans. The goal is to encourage young diners to visit Planet Hollywood, the Daily Mirror reports.
Christina and Britney's multi-media campaign for the celebrity-theme restaurant chain will include promotions such as online chats.
Representatives for the two are expected to close a seven-figure deal with Planet Hollywood this week.
"They're the hottest girls in entertainment right now and will be perfect for our new look," an insider told The Mirror. "Everyone's very excited. It will give us a new lease of life."
At its peak, there were almost 100 Planet Hollywood restaurants across the world during the early 1990s, but the business took a bad turn last year and Arnold Schwarzenegger, one of the stars who helped establish the chain, pulled out just before it went bankrupt.
