Christina joins artists against piracy
Christina Aguilera is taking a stand against piracy.
The Grammy winning pop star, Blink 182 and several other artists put their names at the bottom of a full-page ad to support "Artists Against Piracy," dotmusic reports.
The ad ran in the San Francisco Chronicle, The Washington Post, the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal yesterday and read:
"If a song means a lot to you, imagine what it means to us. That's why we believe that when our music is available online our rights should be respected."
The ad purposefully coincided with the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on the distribution of digital music over the Internet.
Other artists who joined the campaign include Alanis Morissette, Natalie Imbruglia and Hanson.
