Christina has voice trouble
Christina Aguilera's Grammy-winning voice needs a break.
The pop singer had to cancel a performance in Boston last Saturday and another concert in Virginia Beach on Monday because her voice was strained, MTV reports.
Christina "intends to rest her voice further over the next few days," reads a posting on her official website.
The blond star will reschedule the missed shows, but new dates and locations haven't been announced yet.
Voice trouble has plagued the singer before. She missed a show in Syracuse, New York, earlier this month and had to cancel an appearance on the Jerry Lewis TV fund-raiser to support the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Christina is expected to perform at the Latin Grammy Awards tonight (Wednesday) in Los Angeles and go back on tour this Friday (Sept. 15).
