Christina Aguilera isn't slowing down.
The tiny singer just released a Spanish-language album, a holiday album, is still promoting her debut album, and is now planning her next record, MTV reports.
Christina's first pop album went multi-platinum and earned her a Grammy, but she's hoping to try some new sounds with her next effort.
"[I'll have] a lot of different collaborations," Christina told MTV. "I'm going to be working with a lot of people. Puffy [Combs] actually called me the other day to get on it, and I'd love to be working with Timbaland too, and a lot of different producers."
Christina also told MTV that she will probably release her next album in the spring or summer. First, though, the blond singer plans to take the month of January off to relax in a warm climate such as Jamaica or Puerto Rico.
Puffy isn't the only well-known music star she will be working with in the future. Christina and Latin star Ricky Martin are going to release a new single in the New Year.
The two are now filming a video for their duet, "Nobody Wants To Be Lonely," a song from Ricky's new album "Sound Loaded", dotmusic reports.
The recording of the song forced Christina to cancel a scheduled web chat. She posted this message that explained her absence:
"An incredible music and career opportunity has come up for me to record a duet with Ricky Martin. Because our schedules are so crazy, this was the only opportunity we both had to get together."
