Backstreet scoops Blockbuster award
Christina Aguilera and the Backstreet Boys scooped major honours at this year's Blockbuster Entertainment Awards.
Christina won Favorite New Artist - Female and Favorite single for "Genie In A Bottle", while the Backstreet Boys took home Favorite Group - Pop and Favorite CD for "Millennium," which was voted on through the Internet, MTV reports.
Other pop stars who made an appearance at the awards show included Enrique Iglesias and 98 Degrees, who performed at the ceremony.
The sixth annual Blockbuster Awards show was held at the Shrine Auditorium in L.A. FOX-TV plans to broadcast the show on June 20 at 8 p.m. (ET).
