Latest Backstreet news

The Backstreet Boys should be in Sweden by now, working on the one thing their fans crave....a new album.

The new BSB album, a follow-up to their hit "Millennium" is expected to be released in September and the boys are hoping to keep their eager fans occupied with an official photo book that's scheduled for release on July 5, MTV reports.

As AllPop reported last month, "The Official Backstreet Boys Photo Book" features photos from the past six years of the group's career and include snaps of A.J. taking a bath.

All the photos were taken by the group's official photographer, Andre Csillag and group member Howie Dorough told MTV that the boys had to be firm about certain things he wasn't allowed to capture on film.

"When I go to the bathroom, I have to tell him that he can't come into the stall with me," Howie said. "He can't take pictures [there], 'cause this is a PG program. [Laughs] But he's really cool, though."

Howie went on to say that he admires Andre's work and knows it probably isn't an easy job all of the time.

"The poor guy, sometimes he has to every once in a while ask us, 'Okay, guys. We really need a group shot here.' It's hard to get all five of our attentions together when we're all off in La-La Land," Howie said., "and playing around and goofing around. But he does a very good job of capturing, as I said in the book, the last six years of our lives."

In more Backstreet news, the group's wild child, A.J., just launched his own, official website in support of his musical alter-ego Johnny No Name.

The website features photos of A.J. when he's playing Johnny and a complete history on the birth of the fictitious singer.

Earlier this year, A.J. toured as Johnny to support VH1's Save the Music campaign.

But A.J. isn't the only Backstreet Boy with his own website. Howie also has a website which features recipes by his mom, Howie news, contests and information on The Caroline Dorough-Cochran Lupus Memorial Foundation that was established in memory of Howie's sister who died from Lupus.
