Backstreet Boys planning world tour

The Backstreet Boys are already planning a world tour.

The Orlando boy band will release the new album, "Black and Blue" on November 21 and will promote the new album on with a world tour in January, MTV reports.

Backstreet's A.J. McLean said the group will kick off the tour on January 23 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and touring through until November or December.

A.J. insists that the upcoming tour will truly be a worldly event seeing Backstreet hit the U.S., Canada, South America, Europe, Asia and Australia.

"It's finally going to be a true world tour," A.J. said. "We've been saying we were going to do a world tour for the last two years, but we end up hitting the U.S., Canada and Europe, and that's about it as far as we go. This time we're taking this tour the whole way around the world."

Meanwhile, Backstreet fans can focus on the upcoming release of "Black and Blue". Backstreet lovers already had a taste of the group's new music with their recently released single "Shape of My Heart" and A.J. told MTV that there are more up-tempo songs found on the album.
