Backstreet's Brian on "Black & Blue"
In less than three weeks, the much-anticipated new album from the Backstreet Boys will be released and fans are eager for news about the record.
According to NME.com, which spoke to Backstreet's Brian Littrell, "Black & Blue" (out Nov. 21) may hold a few surprises, including the album cover.
Although fans love looking at Brian, A.J., Howie, Nick and Kevin, their popular faces won't appear on the album cover. Instead, the cover will be half black and have blue, with the title printed across the front.
"We decided not to go with the picture on the cover just to kinda differentiate ourselves once again from the normal picture on the front," Brian told NME. "You know, even alternative groups and rock groups now are doing their picture on the front. And so we'd like to try to do something a little different."
As far as the music on "Black & Blue" is concerned, fans have already had a taste of the new sound with the single "Shape of My Heart".
Brian said that the songs on the new Backstreet album are "more diverse" than those on their last smash hit, "Millennium".
