'Backstreet' have new album jitters
The Backstreet Boys are starting to get the pre-album release jitters.
Backstreet's AJ told BBC's Radio 1 that the group is getting a little bit nervous about returning to the pop world with their new album "Black & Blue", BBC reports.
"With a brand new album you're not sure if you're going to be successful again, or if the fans are into somebody else now," AJ said.
After discussing the new album, AJ went on to talk about Backstreet's upcoming tour which will kick off on January 23 2001 in Florida.
"It is very interesting. It'll be like another world. It's a very elaborate stage, everything on it moves." he said. "We'll do the typical intimate stuff and we might play instruments again and do like a medley."
The Backstreet Boys are also hoping to team up with Elton John for some of the tour dates. The U.K. pop icon has been talking with Backstreet's Kevin and AJ said Elton would like to do a few shows with the group.
"We might do an entire show together, or half a show together," AJ said. "As long as he does it with us that would be incredible."
