Backstreet fever begins
Record outlets across North America are expecting the Backstreet Boys' "Black & Blue" to be a huge seller.
The album will be released on November 21 and Jive plans to ship 6 million units out to supply all the hungry Backstreet fans, Billboard reports.
On top of that, Wal-Mart, the world's largest retailer, will buy 2.5 million copies the album.
The department store will also be the only U.S. store to carry a special version of "Black & Blue" featuring the bonus track "What Makes You So Different (Makes You So Beautiful)".
In more Backstreet news, Kevin, A.J., Howie, Nick and Brian are currently fine tuning their plans for their round-the-world in 100 hours tour, Reuters reports.
The boys plan to fly in a chartered jet from Stockholm to Tokyo, Sydney, Cape Town, Rio de Janeiro and New York to celebrate the upcoming release of "Black & Blue".
The boys will leave for their whirlwind tour after the MTV Europe Awards in Stockholm on Thursday.
Backstreet will be in the air for 55 hours and grounded for 45 hours. They plan to meet with their fans, hold news conferences and perform their latest single "Shape of My Heart," when they land in various different cities across the globe.
