TORONTO -- Backstreet's back at Much!

The Backstreet Boys are confirmed to take part in an hour-long chat at MuchMusic on Feb. 6 from 8 to 9 p.m., the evening before their sold-out show at SkyDome, Feb. 7.

The host for the Feb. 6 event is Rick Campanelli, and the Boys will chat live with fans in the MuchMusic studio and via phone, fax, e-mail and Speakers Corner.

Those wishing to get inside the exclusive event should tune into Much on Feb. 1 at 4 p.m. -- or log onto www.muchmusic.com -- for details on how to get one of a very limited number of wristbands.

The last time all five Backstreet Boys were at MuchMusic -- on Jan. 4, 1998 -- thousands of fans showed up, causing a frenzy outside the Queen Street studios. Eight people were sent to hospital for minor injuries.

The Backstreet Boys just launched their world tour in support of their latest album, Black & Blue, earlier this week in Florida.
