The return of Backstreet's Johnny No-Name

The Backstreet Boys' A.J. McLean will take on his alter ego to kick off his new charity.

A.J. will attend a press conference Thursday as Johnny No-Name, a British bad-boy rocker, to announce a month-long fundraising challenge for the JNN Foundation, Rolling Stone reports.

A.J.'s new foundation will raise money for two charities: the VH1 Save The Music Foundation and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Up to 500 fans will be able to buy tickets to the press conference for a $5 donation to the foundation.

The month of fundraising will include a series of auctions on HardRock.com and eBay for autographed Johnny No-Name merchandise, which includes a Hard Rock Cafe jacket and a suit and fedora.

"My family and I are grateful for all that we have been blessed with, and giving back -- however we can -- is a mainstay of our long-term goals," A.J. said. "In establishing the JNN Foundation, we intend to make a difference with causes that have hit close to home for us."

The press conference will be held at the Hard Rock Live in Universal Studios in Orlando.

Last year A.J. went on a brief tour as Johnny No-Name and donated the proceeds to the Save The Music Foundation.
