What's the most embarrassing thing Dream's ever done? What book changed their lives? Find out as AllPop sits down with Ashley, Diana, Holly and Melissa, who are riding high with their debut album "It Was All A Dream".
Name an album, movie or a book that changed your life:
Melissa - I just recently read a book called "The Bluest Eye". It's by Toni Morrison. That book really kind of opened my eyes to different people and a lot of the things people go through. People make mistakes, and a lot of the time, in human nature, we like to judge those things and not understand and just completely turn our backs on those people. The book really made me want to step back and look more into the situation and understand those people and those things, because everyone goes through challenging moments and makes mistakes.

Ashley - One song that changed my life would have to be Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On", because that's how I got into the group. I wasn't prepared [for the Dream audition], and I just happened to have that song from the last talent show.
Diana - Probably the Bible has changed my life.
Holly - I know Ani DiFranco's albums definitely changed my life, because they gave me a different perspective on music.
Best movie of all time:
Ashley - My favourite movie of all time is "Now And Then". [Starring Christina Ricci, Melanie Griffith and Thora Birch. Jumps from the life of four adult women to memories of their childhood friendships.] You know what's funny? That movie was an inspiration to me before I got in the group. It's just about four girls and they're really close and how they grew up, and it's so cool that I got in a group with four girls.
Melissa - "Overboard" [Starring Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russel. Hawn's rich character loses her memory after falling off her yacht and falls in love with Russel's character.] I love that movie. It's just hilarious, and I think Goldie Hawn is like the best actress in the world, may I add.
Name a person or persons that influenced you or changed your life:
Diana - My mother, 'cause I look up to my mom a lot. She's a strong woman and she's gone through so many things that have made her such a better person. She knows how to handle situations so well. She doesn't freak out. She knows how to take things in and keep everything moving. She's very intelligent when it comes to really big situations and how to handle them. I really admire that.
Holly - For me, there's a lot of people who have come into my life and contributed to who I am, but I definitely think these girls ... they've had a big impact as far as building each other's confidence. I'm always saying that it's hard for me to understand how do deal with the girls because no one in the world has a relationship the way that we have a relationship with each other. We're closer than family.
Ashley - God has inspired me so much during this whole year.
Melissa- I'd have to say the same thing. I feel the exact same way.
Most Embarrassing thing that ever happened to you:
Holly - There's been a lot of embarrassing moments for all of us onstage in front of the cameras, but I'm sure the worst things ... we've tried to forget. We've all had pants and clothing rip onstage.
Melissa - One time I remember I was in the fourth grade and I got my lunch and I was sitting with my friends and we had all these guys at the table and we thought we were all cool. I remember this one guy I had a crush on, he was really funny. I was sitting there drinking my milk and I start cracking up and milk comes out my nose. It got everywhere. Everyone looked at me like I was really stupid. That was the worst.
Holly - Actually I was talking to my friend yesterday 'cause he was at home doing nothing for Valentine's day, and when I was in seventh grade I dated him and he starts reading me this letter that I wrote him and this poem and then I was like, "I didn't write that, oh my God!"
Worst outfit you ever had:
Diana - I was looking at a picture one time, and my mom had me in hot pink polka-dot leggings and a green shirt with my hair pulled up and a high pony tail to the side. I was like, "Mother, why did you do that to me, what were you thinking?" My mom used to dress me up all funky all the time. She did not care.
Ashley - My mom used to love big bows on me. I have all these pictures from first grade to fifth grade, and I had these huge bows on my head that took up the whole picture. So embarrassing.
Holly - For me it's kind of sad because I can't blame my mom for the way she dressed me. I've seen pictures of how I used to dress myself. I see pictures from sixth grade and stuff, and I used to wonder why I didn't have any boyfriends ... (laughs). It wasn't one thing that was so bad, it was just that my look was just not cute at all.
Melissa - I wore one outfit and one outfit only and I wasn't embarrassed. I had this dress that my grandma made me, and I wore that thing every stinkin' day. My mom had to like rip that dress off me. I felt like a princess, so I didn't care.
Most exciting moment of your career:
Melissa - Just being together!
Ashley - One of the most exciting things for us is probably getting to see ourselves on billboards and TV and wow! It's exciting to not expect something and then have it pop up in your face. It's a big blessing.
Holly - It was definitely very exciting when our single went gold.
Holly - I remember when we were going to the studio and we saw two posters up on the street corners, and we started freaking out and we rolled down the windows and we were screaming at everybody walking by, "That's us! That's us!"
The bravest thing you've ever done:
Ashley - To go from a mall tour straight to the *Nsync tour, and it was really hard and it was kind of confusing and when we went there we did as best as we could. I think that was pretty brave of us.
