Jennifer Lopez has been busy with her acting career lately but that doesn't mean she's given up on music.
Jennifer just finished filming "The Cell" and told MTV that she's "halfway done" her second album.
According to Jennifer, she's teaming up with super-producer Rodney Jerkins for her second album (he also worked on her debut "On The 6") and that she hopes it's released in October.
Jennifer went on to say that she wants her bad-boy boyfriend Sean Puffy Combs to work on a couple of tracks for the album too.
"On The 6" produced three hit singles for Jennifer - "If You Had My Love," "Waiting For Tonight," and "Feelin' So Good".
"You pour your heart and soul out into your music," she said. "It's really a reflection of who you are as a person, as opposed to playing characters in a movie, and you just hope for the best. You hope that somebody relates to it, somebody understands it, and that they like it and that they can dance to it, so I was really pleasantly surprised by the outcome."
Meanwhile, Jennifer's upcoming acting effort in "The Cell" will be in theatres on August 18.
