Jennifer Lopez doesn't think she's a diva.

The singer/actress is often stuck with that label, but she disagrees, TV Guide reports.

Jennifer said that the term diva is often used to refer to someone who's had an impressive career, like Barbra Streisand or Tina Turner. The word can also be used to insult a star who is rumoured to be very demanding.

"Being that I'm at the beginning of my career, I can't be in the first category," she said, "and I'm not demanding or out of control, so I don't see myself as either."

Jennifer's next project is a starring role in "The Wedding planner," a romantic comedy with Matthew McConaughey.
