Puffy and Jen aren't engaged

Sean (Puffy)Combs put a stop to the marriage rumour-mill and announced that he and Jennifer Lopez aren't engaged.
Vibe reported that Puffy dismissed the stories in newspapers and on T.V. that said Puffy had proposed at his birthday party and that the two were going to get married in Miami on New Year's Day.

"At this time, we do not have plans to marry. We've just started a relationship and are taking things day by day," he announced in a statement.
