Actress/singer, Jennifer Lopez, is reportedly collecting a large amount of money to star in a new film.

Jennifer is getting $7.5 million to star in "Angel Eyes," a film described as a romantic thriller, Yahoo news reported. Her salary has climbed since her break-out performance in "Selena" that earned her $1 million.

The movie's plot focuses on a female police officer who deals with past sexual abuse through a friendship with a man who has lost his wife and son.

"Angel Eyes" was written by Gerald DiPego and will be directed by Luis Mandoki. The two worked together earlier this year on "Message in a Bottle," starring Kevin Costner.
