Mandy's a TV host
Mandy Moore just released her new album "I Wanna Be With You" but the busy 16-year-old isn't stopping to relax.
Many is now hosting her own show on MTV called "Mandy" which focuses on topics such as "If I hook up I'm a ho/If he hooks up he's a hero", Entertainment Weekly Online reports.
"We talk about music and fashion and issues that teenagers can relate to," she said. "As an artist, it's so important to show people your personality. I'm sure there are people who watch MTV who don't like my kind of music, but maybe they'll see me do something on TV and say, 'She seems kinda cool.'"
When Mandy's concentrating on her music career she looks up to artists such as Madonna and Bette Midler but now that she's in TV-host mode, she's finding her inspiration in Rosie O'Donnell.
"I love Rosie," Mandy said. "She's very into the music. And she's very motherly. She told me on the show, 'Now, you can't be dressing like Britney or Mariah.'"
