*Nsync to make "Grease 3"

The *Nsync boys are bringing "Grease" back to the theatres.

J.C., Justin, Joey, Lance and Chris have decided to make "Grease 3" their foray into the film world, Entertainment Weekly reports.

But the looming actors/writers strike could foil the boy-band's plan.

"We're going ahead and getting the script written," Lance said. "It's a go from the studios, and we just got to wait until the strike is over, then we can start filming."

The boys wouldn't say who would be cast in the lead female role, although rumours have swirled around Britney Spears getting the part.

On top of their film plans, *Nsync is already thinking about the follow-up to their smash album "No Strings Attached".

The group is already searching for a producer for the next album, expected to be released in February.

"There's been several people we've been talking about," Lance told Entertainment Weekly. "Maybe getting with She'kespere again, Timbaland, Missy Elliot. Even Richard Marx would be great to work with again."

In more *Nsync news, Chris took a moment during a press conference on Monday to talk about the group's legal woes with their former manager Lou Pearlman, Livedaily.com reports.

*Nsync and Pearlman were involved in a legal dispute last year when the group moved to Jive Records from RCA. A court ruling allowed them to record with Jive, and the two sides reached an undisclosed settlement last year.

"It's really sad that it went down like that," Chris said. "Because at first he tried to make it like a family: 'I want to be close to you guys. I want you guys to be able to trust me.' But in a business when it comes to money, you can't trust anybody, because the people you start trusting, you never guess that they're the ones that are actually taking all your money. That was really hard for us."

In a possible attempt to distance himself from Lou's latest band, "O-Town", which was created during the TV series "Making The Band," Chris said that Lou never told them how to sing and that they weren't "puppets".

"What do we think about it? It's a piece of crap," Justin said about "Making The Band". "It's scary to think that O-Town show, that they're serious. I'm not dissing the boys on the show. God bless them. I'm almost positive that they don't have a clue what's going on, really."

Meanwhile, *Nsync will be making their presence felt on TV. They'll appera on "The Rosie O'Donnell Show" on Nov. 7, "Live with Regis," on Nov. 10 and "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" on Nov. 29.
