*Nsync online
One more *Nsync boy now has an Internet persona.
Lance Bass is the latest of the boy-band members to become a 3D interactive character made by the MediaX Corporation.
There are already mini, computerized versions of Christ Kirkpatrick and Justin Timberlake, and 3D versions of J.C. Chasez and Joey Fatone are on the way.
The Net versions of the *Nsync-ers can be found on the group's official website.
The tiny pop stars will take their users on a tour of their website, in addition to their other favourite sites, tell secrets, and bring fans to locations of *Nsync.com that wouldn't be available without the 3D characters.
"With the addition of the 'Lance' agent to our freely available offering of interactive characters, we are guiding the growth and evolution of the incredibly successful http://www.nsync.com, which is already the most popular music artist web site," said Nancy Poertner, President of MediaX.
"These characters create a humanistic gateway to Web navigation which is exciting for users, in addition to being a productive avenue for the generation of new revenue streams."
