'Grease' star denies *Nsync rumour
The original "Grease" star says *Nsync won't be in "Grease 3".
John Travolta, who starred in 1978's "Grease" with Olivia Newton-John, is shooting down reports that the *Nsync boys are going to star in a third instalment, TV Guide reports.
"Most likely, it's 'Grease 3'," the group's Lance Bass told reporters earlier this year when asked what film *Nsync planned to make.
But Travolta thinks "Grease 3" is very unlikely.
"It wont be called 'Grease 3'," he said about the *Nsync movie. "I was told Paramount owns the 'Grease' name and they're not doing that."
A Paramount spokesperson confirmed Travolta's statement, saying "We're not doing 'Grease 3'".
Travolta said he thinks the "Grease" franchise should be left alone. and wasn't thrilled with the 1982 sequel starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Maxwell Caulfield.
