*Nsync changes tour dates
*Nsync has changed their upcoming PopOdyssey tour dates.
The record-breaking pop group had to delay the opening show on their tour in order to be completely ready for the spectacle, MTV reports.
Now the group plans to kick off the tour on May 18 in Jacksonville, Florida, and the original opening date on May 12 in Miami has been changed to Aug. 2.
Tour promoters said that the production staff needed the extra six days before the tour starts because of the magnitude of the staging requirements. Eighty-eight trucks will have to be used to transport all the props and staging for the tour.
"['NSYNC] wanted to make sure that all their fans got the full effect of this dynamic tour," said Brad Wavra of SFX, (the tour's promoters) in a release. "We, along with the group, regret any inconvenience this schedule change may have caused for the fans. We promise this tour will be a musical extravaganza for the record books."
Refunds will be given to people who bought tickets for the now-cancelled shows.

In more *Nsync news, group heartthrob Justin Timberlake is becoming an author. The singing star and boyfriend of pop star Britney Spears is trying to sell a book titled "Justin Timberlake's Cross-over Dribble," MSNBC reports.
Justin is showing interested parties a sample chapter and a proposal that describes his book as an "exciting, fast-paced sports thriller that will appeal to both boys and girls."
He also says the book deals with the "glamorous world of sports stars and movie stars and explores the deep chasm of race in the country ... It will challenge young readers to think about men and women, teamwork and friendship, and winning and losing."
Meanwhile, Britney and her mother plan to release their novel, "A Mother's Gift," this month.
