*Nsync fan sites and message boards are buzzing with the rumour that group member Joey Fatone became a father over the weekend.
"Congratulations to Joey on his new baby girl," wrote one fan on a Yahoo! Message board. "I know he is going to be a great daddy. I'm going to support him in any way I can. PEACE & JOEY'S HAIR GREASE byebyebye STAY NSYNC".
Some fans sounded shocked that one of the *Nsync boys had a baby outside of marriage, but most online-posters remained loyal to their favourite group.
"That is just so mean!," wrote one fan in response to a nasty post on a Joey message board. "They have lives. They are human beings. We know this makes some people upset, but we can't make the baby go away, so we have to support Joey. "
Meanwhile, Music 365 is reporting that Joey's girlfriend Kelly Baldwin did in fact birth to a baby girl over the weekend and that the couple named their daughter Brianna.
But the baby rumours haven't been confirmed yet, and a fansite devoted to Joey claims that Joey's baby was born on March 23. The website (http://www.angelfire.com/az/phatsuperman) also says that the baby's name is Brianna.
