*Nsync plans computer game, enormous tour

*Nsync fans can now win a backstage peek by becoming CD-ROM experts.

The *Nsync Hotline Fantasy Phone and CD-ROM for PCs is allowing kids aged 8-12 to play for backstage passes to the group's shows. There are five games in total, including a bowling challenge that requires fans to knock over pins featuring the heads of JC, Lance, Justin and Chris, MTV reports.

There's also a memory game called Quick Change, Trivia and Charity Challenge that shows the *Nsync boys in a kissing booth. When players win each game in a specific order, they're shown an autographed backstage pass, backstage photos, and can watch a video message of congratulations from the boys.

The main part of the game is a Fantasy Phone that plugs into a PC gameport and then works as a game controller. When the phone isn't plugged in, it will ring and provide the gamer and *Nsync fans with sound clips and text messages. These messages can be personalized for specific fans who can receive birthday messages from the group or be reminded of various appointments.

The *Nsync game is expected to arrive in stores in September.

In more *Nsync news, details are starting to leak about the group's upcoming PopOdyssey tour.

According to MTV, the live shows which officially kick off today (Wednesday) in Jacksonville, FL, will feature a five-story-high stage along with a few other small stages which will be erected throughout the various venues.

*Nsync's publicist said the tour requires 88 trucks to transport the staging materials, compared to their last tour which only used 19 trucks.

The boys are planning to debut material from their upcoming album "Celebrity" during the tour. They also plan to bring 20 random fans up onstage to take photos as the group members walk a red carpet to the tune of the title song.

During the show, single-use cameras *Nsync will also be on sale. The group members plan to ask their fans to snap photos of them during "Celebrity". A dollar from the sale of each camera will go towards the *Nsync charity, Challenge for the Children Foundation.

*Nsync's new album will be released on July 24.
