*Nsync gets plastic female fans

There's an older woman interested in the *Nsync boys.

Barbie/Mattel just launched an *Nsync #1 Fan version of Barbie that comes complete with *Nsync paraphernalia, MTV reports.

Barbie, who first appeared in toy stores in 1959, will get an *Nsync #1 Fan version that comes complete with *Nsync paraphernalia, MTV reports.

Mattel, the company that owns the Barbie franchise, will also produce two Barbie friends -- Christie and Teresa -- who will also come in *Nsync fan editions.

Each of the dolls come with an exclusive CD with a remixed *Nsync single, and is built to move to the music. Barbie's CD comes with a version of "Bye Bye Bye", Teresa will dance to "This I Promise You", and Christie's song is "It's Gonna Be Me".

In addition to the CDs, the *Nsync fan dolls come dressed in jeans and tie-dyed *Nsync shirts, *Nsync banners, and miniature magazines and autograph books. Each doll will also come with two *Nsync trading cards.

"Music celebrities, especially pop stars, have created quite a craze in girls' lives, and no one knows girls better than Barbie," said Jamie Cygielman, Barbie/Mattel vice president. "Mattel's partnership with 'NSYNC is yet another way the Barbie brand continues to remain in tune with girls, providing relevant ways for them to play out their fantasies and aspirations."
