Prince and princess of pop record duet

Pop super couple Britney Spears and *Nsync's Justin Timberlake are teaming up on a new song.

The two pop superstars have recorded a high-energy single that's being described as "aggressive" by Rich Travali, who is currently mixing the song in New York, MTV reports.

Britney and Justin co-wrote the song, along with Wade Robson, their choreographer.

Travali wouldn't announce the track's title but did say he expects it will appear on Britney's new album, scheduled for release Nov. 6.

In more *Nsync news, Justin tried out his improvisational skills on comedian Wayne Brady's new variety show called (what else?) "The Wayne Brady Show", TV Guide reports.

Wayne, best known for his improv antics on "Whose Line Is It Anyway?", told TV Guide that he's a "huge *Nsync fan" and asked Justin to make a guest appearance on his new program.

The show's hour-long premiere, which airs tonight at 8 p.m. (ET) on ABC, features Wayne, Justin, and singer Brian McKnight making up love songs on-the-spot for a lucky audience member.

Wayne says the trio was so successful that he hopes they'll get together again soon and hopefully release music together.

"I've got Justin and Brian and a couple of guys from All-4-One, and we're all working on songs," he said. "We'll hopefully put a CD together for release next year."
