U.S. 'Popstars' top charts

Eden's Crush, the all-girl group born from the WB's version of the reality show "Popstars", has a number one hit.

"Get Over Yourself", the group's debut single, sold 77,000 copies in the U.S. and topped SoundScan's singles sales chart, MTV reports.

In addition to that good news, Eden's Crush will now open for mega-popular boy band *Nsync on the group's summer tour.

The *Nsync tour starts on May 12, and the five-member girl group will start opening for *Nsync on June 19 in Toronto.

The group was created through a series of call-backs and auditions that were all featured on the show "Popstars". There are versions of the same show, with different girls, in Canada, the U.K. and Australia.

The U.K. group, which features two boys and three girls, is called Hearsay. Hearsay's first single topped the U.K. charts upon its release.

The Canadian final five will be unveiled on Monday, March 26.
