Last year The WB aired their version of "Popstars", which resulted in the all-girl group Eden's Crush, while Canada formed Sugar Jones on Global's "Popstars". Now both networks are planning to form a boy/girl band on each of their versions of "Popstars".

U.S. auditions kick-off on June 9 and will be held in L.A., New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Washington and Miami.

The details of the Canadian auditions haven't been announced yet.
