Britney's charities and crushes

Britney Spears is following through with her promises to help charities.

Britney and MTV.com are teaming up for a ticket auction to benefit the Britney Spears Foundation and Musicians On Call, MTV reports.

Two tickets to every show during Britney's summer tour will go on the auction. The highest bidders will get the tickets and an opportunity to meet Britney.

Bidding started on Saturday and will continue all summer on MTV's website.

Proceeds from the auction will go to the Britney Spears Foundation which supports a performing arts summer camp and to Musicians On Call, a non-profit group "dedicated to using music and entertainment to promote and complement the healing process for patients."

In more Britney news, the star finally met her movie-star crush, Yahoo new reports.

Britney, who has a small crush on Ben Affleck, met the movie star when he walked into her dressing room at the Billboard Music Awards.

"He came into my dressing room," she said. "And I was so embarrassed, because I was doing sit-ups on the floor. I was in a mess. I'm not good with guys. I don't know what to say."

Although Britney does think the actor is cute, she's quick to point out that she's not head-over-heels for Ben.

One of Britney's friends told a magazine that she's "obsessed" with Ben and Britney wasn't pleased.

"I was like, 'Why did you say that?' I just think he's cute," she said. "He thinks I'm a psycho, probably."
