Britney releasing new single
Britney Spears is about to release a new single.
During a press conference in Orlando the princess of pop revealed that she's hoping to release "Lucky" as the follow-up single to her smash hit "Oops!...I Did It Again" although "Stronger" is also a possibility, AllStar reports.
Britney went on to talk about the details of her 53-date summer tour that will kick off on June 20 in Columbia, Md.
"The sets are really amazing," Britney said. "I have a one bedroom set that is really cartoonish-looking. There are three parts to the show. The first part I hit 'em strong and really hard. Then I come back and do some of the harder songs like 'Don't Go Knockin' on My Door' and 'Satisfaction,' and the show just flows really, really well. And the costumes are amazing, they are really nice. There are a lot of costumes and quick changes -- we haven't really
worked all that out yet but we'll manage."
Britney explained that her concerts will feature music from both her albums and that fans can expect a theme to her performances.
"It's like a story where everything flows together -- like a Broadway show almost."
The opening act for Britney's tour is an impressive line-up of pop new-comers including Mikaila, A*Teens, BBMak, and Innosense, No Authority, 5ive, Nobody's Angel, Don Philip, and C-Note.
Britney also denied accusations that she lip syncs during live shows.
"That's false," she said. "On my first and second tour, when I had the big screen up ahead of me, there was a
delay and it confused people and they were thinking that I was lip syncing. But no, I'm never lip syncing. There are times in the chorus when they up the background vocals to help me out, but I'm singing my ass off."
