Britney goes online

Britney Spears is making her pop presence felt all over the Internet.

The pop princess is joining YOUtopia.com, a Canadian company directed at teens that is scheduled to launch this month.

Britney will be the YOUtopia.com Ambassador and will help with the site's content and promotions. She will be the interactive guide to the site, take visitors on virtual shopping trips, host online parties and take part in online chats.

Teens who visit the site can shop with the pop star with YOUdollars, an online currency they can earn through YOUtopia's interactive games and chats.

"I am very excited to be a part of YOUtopia.com because it will give teens the chance to have fun, earn YOUdollars, and shop for free on the ‘net," Britney said. "We will be able to play games, check out hip clothes, chat and hang out at virtual parties."
