He said what?!

Remember the story about the dirty old businessman who offered virgin pop diva Britney Spears $17 million to have sex with him?
Apparently it's all news to Britney. In a rare one-on-one interview with The Sun's Jane Stevenson yesterday, Spears said she hadn't heard about the episode before arriving in Toronto, even though a British newspaper quoted her saying it was "a disgusting offer and he should go have a cold shower."
"Somebody just asked me before I came in here, 'Is it true that this guy offered you some $17 million to have sex with him?' and I was like, 'What are you talking about?'" Spears told Stevenson, her voice rising in horror. "And they had me saying a quote and I didn't even know about it. Maybe this guy did do this, but no one told me about it."
