Britney's night club adventure
One of Britney's fans is trying to dirty the singer's squeaky clean image.
According to The New York Post, a tourist named Kathryn Anderson snapped a quick photo of Britney with a drink in her hand at the Chaos night club.
Anderson claimed that once the photo was taken, Britney's bodyguards asked her to hand over the camera. Anderson refused and was then escorted out of the club.
The persistent tourist said she tried to take Britney's picture in the club's bathroom but was turned down.
"She said to me, 'I don't want any pictures ... I don't look good enough right now'," Anderson said. "That made me mad, so I followed her out to the club and took another picture of her with a drink in her hand."
According to club reps, 18-year-old Britney didn't drink anything stronger than pop and juice that night.
Britney reportedly showed up at the club at 2. a.m. on Thursday with *NSync's Justin Timberlake, her older brother Bryan and two bodyguards.
The group decided not to hang out in the exclusive VIP room, and spent the night dancing, instead.
Although one gossiper told The Post a bottle of vodka was circulating at Britney's table, no one saw the pop princess take a drink.
"If Britney was drinking, she wasn't doing it at Chaos," said Chaos spokesman Ron Alan. "She seemed fine and was very graceful to our staff," Alan said. "She had a great time dancing with Justin and didn't leave until 3:30 a.m. From what we can tell, her good-girl reputation is still intact."
