Britney Spears recently agreed to star in her first feature film, but in the meantime the princess of pop will make a brief appearance in Louis J. Pearlman's upcoming flick.
"Longshot" is described as a romantic comedy. It was filmed in 1999 and is the pet project of Pearlman, O-Town's famous creator and the initial force behind *Nsync and Backstreet Boys, Entertainment Weekly reports.
"We only had her for half an hour," said director Lionel Martin about Britney's role. "She plays a flight attendant. The captain of the plane is Kenny Rogers. The movie has a bit of that 'Airplane!' feel."
The film also features cameo appearances by LFO, O-Town, and Britney's *Nsync boyfriend, Justin Timberlake.
As AllPop previously reported, Britney's starring role will be in a yet-to-be-titled film about three three highschool friends who embark on a road trip together.
