Britney Spears better have a good sense of humour, because there's a new movie coming that will poke fun at the pop princess.
Julie Brown is used to making fun of pop icons. Her 1992 movie "Medusa: Dare To Be Truthful" made fun of Madonna. Now Brown is planning to direct a low-budget movie making fun of Britney and in which she'll play Britney's mom Lynne in the film, TV Guide reports.
Meanwhile, '80s pop queen Deborah Gibson is starring in a movie that makes fun of diva rivalry.
The TV movie is titled "Teen Queens", and is about the competition between to young, female pop singers.
"It looks at the pre-fabricated rivalries and how showbiz people will stop at nothing to hold onto their fame," Gibson told TV Guide. "I'd be playing a character who, in the beginning, you think is me, but then she becomes completely desperate and off the deep end."
