Britney discusses working with Justin

Even Britney Spears is nervous around Justin Timberlake.

Although Justin is the pop princess's boyfriend, Britney said she was "a little nervous" recording a song titled "What It's Like To Be Me" with him as he acted as a co-producer, MTV reports.

Britney said that she found having Justin act as a co-producer on the song which he also co-wrote with Wade Robson, a bit "awkward" until she took a deep breath and forgot about the boyfriend factor.

"But then I just totally forgot that he was my boyfriend, and I just said, 'Britney, just do the vocals, don't be nervous, don't be retarded like this,'" she told MTV. "But it ended up being fine, actually. At the very end ... I got the best vocals I've ever done."

Britney is now figuring out the rest of the track listing for her new album, due Nov. 6. Three songs confirmed for the album by Jive Records are "I'm A Slave 4 U", which will be the first single, "Lonely", and a cover of "I Love Rock 'N' Roll".

Britney has several other tracks that are still being considered for the album ,including "I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman", which was co-written by U.K. popstar Dido, and "Overprotected".

Britney is already planning her next tour in support of the new album. She will kick off her live dates on Oct. 6 in Miami and finish on Nov. 9 in Cleveland. On Nov. 18, the pop princess will join Cher on stage for a live HBO special where the two will sing Sonny and Cher's "The Beat Goes On".
