Scary Spice in fishy movie
Spice Girl Mel B is getting an extra 15 minutes of fame.
Scary Spice has signed on to appear in a 15-minute movie called "Fish," dotmusic reports.
Mel will play a mother who works in a fish processing plant.
"She has to work hard at Fishy Frank's and feels really tired," said the film's producer Deborah Hunter of Mel's character. "She's too weary to understand her son. Frank fancies her but there isn't anything going on really. She's a single parent trying to make ends meet."
Mel won't be paid spicy millions for her acting stint -- the budget for the entire film is just $104,485 (Cdn).
Mel was eager to work with the film's director, Bruce Goodison, and asked for no special favours, according to dotmusic.
In more Spice news, Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice) is planning to team up with Dane Bowers again.
The two will release the single "Out Of Your Mind" with the Truesteppers in August in the U.K., and they've decided to make another studio date together.
Another Victoria rumour says that the stylish singer will be recording tracks with Gary Barlow, formerly of the U.K. boyband Take That, and with producer Rodney Jerkins for her solo album.
