Scary Spice's ex arrested
Mel B's ex-husband was arrested Monday.
Jimmy Gulzar, who is separated from the Spice Girl, was taken to the police station after Mel's sister, Danielle Brown, claimed he punched her in the head, The London Sun reports.
The 30-year-old dancer has since been released on bail.
The incident reportedly happened while Jimmy had weekend custody of Phoenix Chi, his child with Mel B.
Jimmy's lawyer, Helen Pidgeon, publicly defended her client.
"Our client categorically denies the allegation and has not been charged," she said.
Danielle acted as a mediator between Mel and Jimmy in the past.
Jimmy and Mel, who met while he was a dancer on the Spice Girls world tour, married in 1998 but separated early in the new year.
