More on Scary Spice divorce
Scary's divorce is getting nasty as rumours start to fly.
Rumours that cosmetic surgery came between Mel B and Jimmy Gulzar were dismissed by the Spice Girl, dotmusic reports.
Mel denied the story that claimed breast surgery ruined her marriage asking a dotmusic reporter if he wanted to "have a feel" to prove that her breasts are real.
The story was reportedly spread by Jimmy who said that the surgery prevented Mel from breast-feeding the couple's child and caused irreparable damage to their marriage.
"What can I say about Jimmy apart from that he's earned his living by selling a story," Mel told dotmusic.
In more news about the divorce, Mel admitted to cheating on Jimmy during their marriage, the London Sun reports.
In the divorce papers submitted by Jimmy to the High Court, the Spice Girl admits having an affair with an unidentified man.
Jimmy told the Sun that he suspected his wife was seeing actor Max Beesley before the two had separated.
Jimmy claimed that although he and Mel were having problems, he wanted to try to work things out. He began to suspect that Mel was having an affair but she denied it.
Jimmy went on to say that he thought they planned to go to Thailand together over the Christmas holiday but at the last minute Mel asked him to move out of their home.
"But on Christmas morning Mel announced, 'You're not coming to Thailand. I'm taking Danielle [Mel's sister] instead," he told the Sun. "I want to separate. I want to see how it goes.'
Jimmy also claimed that Mel called him before boarding the plane to Thailand and told him she wanted to save their marriage.
"She was in tears and said, 'I love you so much Jimmy - when I come back we will try again,'" he said. "I didn't hear from her again until she rang three days later and said, 'I want a divorce.'"
