Spice Girls hinting at break-up
Forever might be too long for the Spice Girls to last.
Sporty Spice, Mel C is spreading rumours that the group's performance at the MTV Europe Awards tonight (Nov. 16) could be the group's good-bye, Music 365 reports.
Facing disappointing album sales on their latest record "Forever," Mel admitted that the U.K. girl group isn't sure what will become of the Spices.
"We're not really sure about our future at the moment. We are going to see how everything goes," she said. "There will be no Spice tour. Next year I'll be doing a solo tour, Emma and Victoria will be releasing their own albums and Mel B will be working on her follow-up."
Mel went on to say that tonight's live performance in Stockholm at the MTV Awards could be the last time Baby, Scary, Sporty and Posh take the stage as the Spice Girls.
"The last time we will probably all be together onstage is at the MTV Europe Awards," Mel said. "After that, I don't know. We all enjoy our Spice work, but we are having a really hard time at the moment and we've got to a stage where we just want to be happy."
