Spice Girls deny break-up rumours
Mel C's spokespeople are denying rumours that Sporty Spice is considering leaving the group.
Mel appeared on the U.K. program "The Frank Skinnger Show" this week and hinted at the possibility that she could say good-bye to her Spice pals, dotmusic reports.
"Actually I've been luckier since I left," she said when questioned about the disappointing sales of "Forever". "Well, since I've been doing my own thing."
A spokesperson for the Spice Girls was quick to clear up the remarks explaining that the misinterpreted quotes were no more than just light-hearted banter."
The spokesperson went on to say that Mel isn't leaving the girl group.
The spokesperson also discounted rumours that the girls were scheduling live performance dates saying "There is no truth to these rumours I'm afraid."
