Robbie surprises crowd
Robbie Williams surprised a UK audience on Friday with a guest performance.
The UK pop star performed a version of "She's The One" on Friday night for an audience of 1,000 at Brighton's Theatre Royal during a charity performance of "Aladdin", Dotmusic reports.
Robbie's cousin, John Wilkes, who plays the lead in the play, was about to sing the song when Robbie walked onto the stage.
"Everyone was screaming and on their feet within seconds," a spokeswoman for the theatre told Dotmusic.
"He put everything into the performance and got a standing ovation at the end. He seemed very touched."
Proceeds from the show went to MacMillan Nurses and Brighton CARE, two charities that were important to the late General Manager of the theatre, Roger Neil, who died in December.
