Robbie called talentless

U.K. pop star, Robbie Williams, is being called names.

British television impresario Jonathan King, the creator of ITV's "Record of the Year", said Robbie was "in decline" and was "without any talent whatsoever," Q online reports.

The insult might come as a surprise to Robbie, who won Best Male Artist in the Smash Hits Award and has enjoyed massive chart success in the U.K.

King said Robbie was charismatic but had superficial talent. According to King, Robbie's first album, "Life Through A Lens", was decent but the second, "I've Been Expecting You", is lacking strong tracks.

"The second album forgot he doesn't have any talent and therefore hasn't got any good songs on it," King said, obviously unaware of the album's number one singles, "Millennium" and "She's The One".

Robbie wasn't the only pop star who endured King's insults. The Spice Girls also received a heavy dose of criticism as he said they had "no talent and not much charisma".

One of the few pop stars who received King's praise was Boyzone's Ronan Keating. King said Ronan was "shrewd, talented, clever and very young." He also said Ronan was "one of the great stars of the moment."
