semi-obsessed with. Here is AllPop's year-end "hot and not" list. Feel

Best pop concert:
*Nsync - PopOdyssey
Worst pop concert:
Backstreet Boys - Deciding to take the stage in Toronto only a day after
the events of Sept. 11.
Best mindless comedy marketed to teens:
Legally Blonde - Not nearly as good as the classic "Clueless", but Reese
Witherspoon is hilarious.
Worst mindless comedy marketed to teens:
Get Over It - We used to love Kirsten Dunst. This movie might have ended
all that.
Best TV Show:
Buffy The Vampire Slayer - If you don't like it now, we dare you to watch
three episodes in a row and not get hooked.
Worst TV Show:
7th Heaven - The most offensive family-values program on television.
Need proof? They actually aired an episode where the teenaged daughters
asked their mother and father to help them find husbands. Gross.
Best use of positive hype:
Alicia Keys - Have you heard? She actually
plays the piano, she
doesn't just
pretend to play it. That is so amaaaaazing.
Worst use of positive hype:
Nelly Furtado - Gee that "Like A Bird" song is catchy ... now it's just
annoying ... now it's really annoying ... now there's finally a new
single! ... the end.
Reigning Popstar:
Britney Spears - Who cares if she lip-synchs? She's just plain cool.
Seriously. She is. Deal with it.
Popstar who just can't seem to crack into the Britney stratosphere:
Jessica Simpson - She tries, she really does. Maybe she just looks too
much like Britney.
Heartthrob most worthy of obsessive screams:
Justin Timberlake - He's cute, he can sing, and he's going out with
Britney Spears.
Heartthrob least worthy of obsessive screams:
Freddie Prinze Jr. - Aside from "She's All That", has he ever made a
movie anyone wanted to see in the theatres?
Young movie star who should be getting all the parts:
Thora Birch - This is one amazingly talented actor.
Young movie star who will get all the good parts:
Julia Stiles - She's great and everything, but can anyone tell the
difference between her, Erika Christensen, and Leelee Sobieski?
